Led by Carolyn Moyers, DO, FACOG, NCMP, she gained inspiration from the book “Half the Sky, ” which is based on a Chinese proverb: “Women Hold Up Half the Sky.” The book reveals stories about women who have suffered from unimaginable sexual perpetration. Dr. Moyers decided to become part of the solution, giving women a voice, the care, and the attention they deserve. Dr. Moyers provides osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) for her patients, a treatment offered by less than 1% of all providers in the United States. Sky Women’s Health also focuses on the so-called fourth trimester of pregnancy, the postpartum period, when a woman’s body experiences great physical and emotional changes. The practice colabotates with pelvic floor physical therapy and offers Botox® to relieve pelvic floor pain.
