He completed his Foot & Ankle/Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic, and Reconstructive Research. Dr. Straus continues to pursue the latest advancements in orthopaedic technology, including ankle replacement and ligament reconstruction. He was the lead designer on the Omni™ Stable AF Ankle Repair System by Extremity® Medical, which offers better customization and results for routine and complex ankle fracture repair. Dr. Straus has been involved in the care of professional athletes with the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks.
