  Dawn is a former felony prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. During her 12 years as a prosecutor, she tried everything from misdemeanor DWI and assault to complicated capital murders, aggravated robberies and continuous sexual abuse of children cases. For 2 years she served as a specialty prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit prosecuting kid cases exclusively. She then served as the Assistant Chief of the 432nd District Court before deciding to switch sides and join the criminal defense world in 2019. Dawn used what she learned as a prosecutor to now help people when they need it most. Dawn is a Fort Worth Native. She graduated from Trinity Valley School in 2000 and then went on to Vanderbilt University where she earned a BA in French in 2004. She then went to Texas Tech Law School and earned her JD in 2006. She returned to Fort Worth after law school and has been practicing criminal law exclusively. She is a proud member of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Eldon B.   As a former felony prosecutor, Steve Gebhardt has tried over 125 criminal jury trials in Tarrant County, Texas, including capital murder, murder, and sexual assault.   Brian S. Eppes is a former Prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he tried many felony and misdemeanor cases. Brian also served as the Legislative Liaison for the District Attorney. He worked closely with members of the Texas Legislature and helped write several laws. Brian has given many legislative presentations to lawyers across the state. Before joining the District Attorney’s Office, Brian worked at a boutique tax and estate planning firm in Fort Worth. He also served as the Director of the White House Gift Office for President George W. Bush, managing all gifts given to the President, First Lady, and staff. Brian’s unique background in political and legal fields allows him to advise clients in many areas of the law. Brian S. Eppes was raised in Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a degree in Political Science. He received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2005 and was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
