Dr. Dan Chu is a board-certified family physician with a passion for prevention-based medicine. In addition to being a skilled clinician, Dr. Chu enjoys the science behind the medicine. He has been an avid researcher in a variety of areas, including metabolic-driven conditions, skin cancers, hypertensive disorders and the link between certain diabetes medications and dementia. Dr. Chu earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He remained in Galveston to complete his family medicine residency at UTMB. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
