The best way to get results in a case is to set it for trial. Otherwise, the state of Texas is not going to let it go. That is the simple bottom line. Yet many attorneys don't operate like that. Instead, they look to plea cases first. Some even avoid trial at all costs. That is not the way to achieve the best results. A conviction has serious consequences.
