I tried Pilates for the first time in May and fell in love with it instantly and knew that it was something I wanted to make a career out of. I came and took one class at Club Pilates and signed up for teacher training that same day and ever since then I have been on a journey to become an instructor. I have always been a fitness guru and I am always open to trying new things. I come from an athletic background of playing soccer for 12 years to running track all throughout high school. However, after high school I kept wanting to do something new and I tried so many things but nothing was clicking... I did boxing for about a year, tried personal training, barre classes, yoga, it wasn’t until I did Pilates that something clicked. Trust me some of those things pushed me in a good athletic way and I kept going back but it was just not the push I was looking for. Finally when I tried Club Pilates it was something that I knew would click. It took a little bit of all those other workouts I did and just put it all together. And that’s why I love it. There is always something new to be learned in Pilates and it is an industry of self growth and self practice which is why I have a passion to help people find their love of Pilates.
Nikki Zialcita graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BFA degree in Dance in 2004. Moving to New York City upon graduation, she has had the opportunity to work with amazing artists, most notably with Faye Driscoll Group, receiving a 2009 New York Dance and Performance Award with the company. It was during physical therapy after her ACL reconstruction surgery in 2011 that she found her passion for Pilates. It was important for her to receive an education that focused on anatomy, biomechanics, injury prevention/rehabilitation, and overall body-mind awareness. She received her Pilates Mat and Equipment certification from the Kane School of Core Integration in 2014. She lives in Fort Worth, TX with her adorable baby boy, David.
Asia was introduced to Pilates through her ballet dance training with the Houston Ballet Academy and the American Ballet Theater in NYC. Throughout the various dance training curriculum she has taken, Pilates has always been one of the required classes. Asia began to take Pilates classes outside of the dance studio as well, which is how she discovered Club Pilates. Pilates for her has surpassed being a required part of dance curriculum, and has really become a way of life. This was solidified with Asia going through the Club Pilates 500-hour Comprehensive Certification Program. Asia loves Pilates because the principles integral to dance training are also emphasized in Pilates- the importance of deep core support, pelvic alignment, and maintaining this alignment while keeping the movement fluid. Other benefits of Pilates for Asia, is that it helps keep her toned, flexible, and strengthens her spine all while not being too rigorous on her joints- which to her is the best combo! Outside of Pilates, she likes to donate and volunteer at the local animal shelter, and find forever homes for animals without a home.

When not in the studio, Karen can be found enjoying margaritas on the patio, cherishing hugs from her granddaughters, and planning new experiences.
